Email from daughter with obituary correction –
My father's obituary in the Santa Cruz Sentinal, April 27, 1988, was partly incorrect. I had it
corrected the next day. He was born in Santa Cruz. Graduated from Stanford as it said. He
was Chief Engineer for 21 years and General Manager for 3 years of Frasier Johnson Inc. in
San Francisco. Westinghouse purchased the company, picked his brain for 3 years, then let
him go in 1964. He invented an electronic air filter with the gimmick that you could wash the
filters in the dishwasher. He sold it to Metal Fab in Wichita, KS and became a Vice
President in 1965. He retired to Scotts Valley in 1973.
